I did double duty on this show and it was an amazing experience. Not only was I able to perform in the piece, but I was also the assistant director (a first, but not last, for me). Euripides's original text was taken and translated into multiple languages. We utilized Greek, Spanish, Armenian and Russian to shape the speech; torches, dirt and extremely high staircases were what was used to shape the environment...it truly was a breath taking experience.
